Toast

The Tuba Camp is a celebration of the Hungarian tuba society. Artists and eminent teachers of the most profound brass instrument are delighted to participate in the camp, where young talents can meet and learn from outstanding artists, play music together, go on excursions, have a barbecue and play football. We also welcome students of tuba, euphonium, baritone and tenor horn, and from this year on trombone, to the magical world of tuba camp. Of course, we still welcome all lovers of low brass instruments, young and old alike, who love to hear the sound of these instruments!

Teaching

In the mornings, the day starts with a joint breathing exercise and a blow-in. In the morning, the primary, secondary and college age groups take part in individual tuba lessons, and after lunch the teachers hold chamber music sessions.

In many musical institutions there are few, often only one, tuba players, so it is not really possible to create a chamber formation with tuba. Therefore, a special opportunity for a tuba camp is the possibility to form a tuba ensemble, a tuba orchestra. Everyone can try their hand at two styles, classical music and jazz, as a member of a tuba orchestra, the upper parts of which can be played by euphonium players, baritone horn players and tenor horn players.

Location:

Pro Artis Elementary Art School
7030 Paks, Deák Ferenc u. 9.

Who can come?

We welcome tuba players, euphonium players, tenor horn players and baritone horn players alike! You can be a beginner or even start playing an instrument at camp! Tuba camp is open to anyone who wants to play the tuba or join the wonderful society of tuba players!
